webCDwriter and SuSE Linux 8.2
The "resmgr" patch of the cdrecord coming with SuSE 8.2 causes
a "error running cdrecord -scanbus" problem in webCDwriter. To
solve this problem it is recommended to use an unpatched cdrecord.
You may simply go through the following steps:
- Save the staticly linked
cdrecord-2.0.bz2
to your home directory (md5sum: b387f298de2fee99ffdb215841d1d18f)
- Run
$ bunzip2 cdrecord-2.0.bz2
|
- Set
cdrecordPath=/your/home/cdrecord-2.0
|
in /etc/CDWserver/config
- Restart CDWserver by
$ /etc/init.d/CDWserver restart
|
